Teach For India

CDF-Gargi in collaboration with 'Teach For India' organized a session on “Young leaders in the social sector: Unpacking the Teach for India fellowship”. It was an interactive one with the audience actively participating and carrying out the discussions.
The important role of young, compassionate and empathetic leaders. to bring a change in society and especially in the education system was discussed.

Cancer Awareness and Healthy Lifestyle

CDF Gargi organized a webinar on "Cancer Awareness and Healthy Lifestyle" in collaboration with Sanjeevani Life Beyond Cancer. Basic knowledge on Cancer and healthy lifestyle was shared wonderfully by team Sanjeevani.
Ruby Ahluwalia ma'am's battle against Cancer inspired everyone at the session. Her words and advices will always stay with everyone. The session got a great response from the participants.There were more than 100 people attending it.

Mental Health 101

CDF-Gargi's Instagram handle was taken over by mental health advocate, Shalmali Jadhav for a day and the theme for the same  was “Mental Health 101”
Various activities such as Art therapy, question answer session and live sessions was be conducted.

Dalit Womxn

CDF Gargi in collaboration with CDF Miranda, CDF LSR, CDF Aryabhatta hosted an exclusive interactive session "From a Dalit Womxn" with "Ms. Bhumika Saraswati". Recognising the need to understand casteism and atrocities against members of the Dalit community we're hosting this session that will revolve around understanding social hierarchies and structure, breaking stereotypes, widening our horizon on the concepts of identity, what it means to be an ally.

Suicide Prevention

With immense pleasure, the team of CDF-Gargi, in collaboration with the Mental Health Advocate, International Youth Council Member and the founder of "Empathy in you, Shalmali Jadhav organized an informative & interesting session on the topic "It's time we talk about it- a session on suicide prevention"

Poetry is the language of the soul which touches your heart like nothing else. With this the team of CDF Gargi in collaboration with "Ms. Niharika Shah", a student from University of Atlantia, Georgia hosted a session on "Creative Writing Workshop".

Covid- 19 Awareness Webinar

United we stand, United we rise.
Standing by this CDF SGTB Khalsa and CDF Gargi joined hands as community partners for CDF SGTB Khalsa's campaign, CoVictory. The beneficiaries were enlightened with Dos and Don'ts of Covid times, Myths and Facts related to the disease and it's vaccine, registration process on CoWin website and much more.

Girl Up- Avisha

A psychologist, hypnotherapist, dream analyst, graphologist and gatekeeper for suicide
prevention.We are excited to have Aastha Jain as our guest
speaker for our webinar 'Khairiyat - Mental Health,
Everyday', Aastha is an active mental health advocate, currently working with pediatric cancer population in Safdarjung hospital. She has trained 200+ students in various psychological therapies.
